about jessie
Hello, my name is Jessie, the founder of Jessie's Whimsical Photography. I have always been drawn to surrealism, adventure and imagination and I like to reflect these elements in my work. I am specialise in fashion photography, however I do band photo shoots, food photography, still life, head shots, family photos and weddings as well.
Background
A few years ago I created the Oxfam Gateshead Fashion Project, where I would select models of all shapes, sizes, ages, races and abilities to model clothes for Oxfam. I found that there was a lot of room for experimentation, and it was a lot of fun for everyone involved. The images were then sent to Oxfam HQ to be put on their website. I have also worked on many solo projects, and used photography to help me get through my textiles degree. I have worked with bands, gone to weddings, worked with the Alternative Modelling Contest and I have even done a couple of months with I AM VIP nightlife photography.
